JOB SUMMARY
The Visual Arts Instructor will teach various art classes including but not limited to: Bright Beginnings (ages 2-6 adult) youth and adult art of specific mediums keeping up with current art trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
The best candidates will have a bachelors degree in Fine Arts or a related field some college required. Ideal teaching candidates will be motivated energetic and have a diverse art background. Candidates must have the skills to teach basic drawing techniques design techniques and craft creations as well as have an in-depth understanding of color theory. Must work well with both children and adults. Prior teaching experience is a must. Please be prepared to show samples of your art work.
SCHEDULING & PAY
This position is year-round part-time teaching on weekday and weekend mornings and other assorted afternoon/evenings. Classes begin in April. Target hiring range is $30-$35/hour commensurate with qualifications.
