The Batshaw Youth and Family Centres located in Westmount are seeking Psychoeducators for full-time permanent and temporary positions within the Evaluation and Orientation (EO) Service for Youth Protection (DPJ) reports.

Within the Evaluation and Orientation (EO) Service you will analyze reports and implement the necessary protective measures when a childs safety or development is at risk.

Your day-to-day mission:
- Go into the field to meet children families and professionals;
- Quickly assess situations including risks needs safety and the childs development;
- Propose concrete and safe solutions (living environment resources interventions);
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each youth;
- Support parents and guide youth in developing positive behaviors;
- Facilitate activities that promote adaptation rehabilitation and social reintegration;
- Clarify the childs life plan and facilitate their integration into their environment;
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with legal professionals physicians specialists and other network professionals;
- Write reports document case files and contribute to the improvement of clinical tools.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Is a member of the OPPQ (or in the process of becoming a member).
- Is fluent in English and French.
- Has a valid drivers license and access to a car.
- Is adaptable and able to manage changing priorities.
