Centurion is proud to be the provider ofdental services to theFlorida Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-timeDental Assistant to join our team atTaylor Correctional Institutionlocated in Perry Florida.

The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.

Essential Duties:

Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments
Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory
Operating radiographic equipment
Administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or 12months of experience as a Dental Assistant required
Certified Dental Assistant license and/or Expanded Dental Assistant Certificate or ability to obtain one required within first 6 months of employment
Florida Radiograph Certificate or ability to obtain one required within the first 6 months of employment
Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation preferred or willing to obtain one upon hire
Certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or willing to obtain one upon hire
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Days 7AM-3:30PM; Monday-Friday
