WHAT YOULL BE DOING

The Engineering Intern (Industrial Civil or Mechanical preferred) is based at our Las Vegas NV branch. As a Continuous Improvement Engineer Intern you will work closely with our Operations and Engineering teams to analyze existing processes identify improvement opportunities and implement lean methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Support the identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives.

Conduct time studies root cause analyses and workflow assessments.

Assist in the development and deployment of Lean Six Sigma and 5S principles.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track KPIs and develop reports.

Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops.

Document processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Operations Management or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint); experience with data visualization tools is a bonus.
