Source 1 Solutions is seeking a qualified Senior Installation & Troubleshooting Technician for an internal opportunity supporting advanced field deployments and complex customer environments. This role is intended for experienced professionals within our organization who are looking to take on increased technical responsibility and project complexity.

Position Overview

The Senior Installation & Troubleshooting Technician plays a key role in delivering and supporting projects involving CCTV LAN Cellular DAS Public Safety DAS and low-voltage/structured cabling systems. This position requires strong technical expertise the ability to interpret detailed designs and consistent communication with project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and troubleshoot:

  • CCTV systems

  • LAN infrastructure

  • Cellular DAS and Public Safety DAS

  • Low-voltage and structured cabling

• Execute work in accordance with detailed Scopes of Work engineering designs and blueprints

• Collaborate with internal field teams and project leadership

• Provide accurate daily and weekly status updates to supervisors

• Perform local travel as required with statewide and occasional East Coast travel
  (Company vehicles provided; travel expenses covered by Source 1 Solutions)

Required Skills & Experience

• High-level knowledge of ICT and access control systems

• Strong experience with commercial cabling infrastructure including:

  • CAT5 / CAT6

  • Coaxial cabling

  • Fiber

• Experience installing and supporting:

  • Wireless Access Points

  • Low-voltage data cabling (testing and termination)

• Ability to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and construction drawings

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to work safely from ladders rooftops and lift equipment

• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions as well as indoors

Employment Requirements

• Valid clean drivers license

• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening (as required by customer or project)

• Maintain a professional appearance and represent Source 1 Solutions appropriately on customer sites
