DescriptionHillcrest Youth Services is currently seeking a dedicated PRN Youth Care Worker to join our residential program this role youll be responsible for supervising and supporting youth in our care within a structured residential setting. This is a weekends-only position with as-needed hours. The pay rate is $21/hour on weekends and $18/hour on weekdays.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Supervision of residents.
- Work schedule:PRN - As needed weekends only.
- A 2-week training program (Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) is required upon hire.
- Compensation: $18/hour during weekdays; $21/hour for weekend shifts.
- Ability to be a positive role model.
- Provide fair and constructive discipline to the residents.
- Maintain security and safety of facility and residents at all times.
- Maintain complete and accurate resident records.
- Ability to manage personal stress.
- Administer appropriate medication(s).
- Knowledge of policy and procedure manual.
- Transportation of residents.
- Maintain laundry and general cleaning for each unit.
- Ability to work with youth of all ages.
- Screen all admissions/referrals for appropriateness of Hillcrests programming.
QualificationsWHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
- Must be 21 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor degree in Social Work Psychology Sociology or a closely related Human Services field is highly preferred.
- Must be available to complete a paid 2-week training program at $18/hour (Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Previous work with juveniles highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
- Must have valid drivers license and qualify for Companys vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks fingerprinting CPS check sex offender registry check and drug screen.
