Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is expanding our 24/7/365 Mobile Crisis Team to better serve our community and were seeking a compassionate Part-Time Mobile Crisis Team Responderfor All Shifts. As part of a team that responds directly to psychiatric crisis you will help bridge individuals from crisis to recovery.

Hourly rate for Mobile Crisis Team Responders $20/Hour

Third Shift Differential $1.00

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Respond to crisis phone calls walk-ins on-site and provide on-site risk assessments within Vanderburgh County.
• Complete comprehensive risk assessment consult with supervisor and/or psychiatrist on-call for recommendations.
• Provide follow-up and care coordination for clients served.
• Mobile Crisis Team will provide a presence on-site at a specialized crisis shelter to monitor engage and coordinate referrals for participants.

WHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

• Bachelors degree in Social Work or a related field of study required.
• Experience working with mental health addiction and homeless population preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
• Commitment to improving access of mental health services in our community.
• Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
• Candidates must obtain and maintain crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation training.
• Must have valid drivers license auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirementand qualify for Companys vehicle liability insurance.
• Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checkssex offender registry check and drug screen.
