JOB SUMMARY
If you love basketball this job is for you! The Glenview Park District runs a youth basketball league on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the winter months and is in need of scorekeepers. The pay rate for the position starts at $15.25/hour.
- Games take place at Park Center 2400 Chestnut Ave OR Attea Middle School 2500 Chestnut Ave.
- Saturday games: 1/11 3/22
- Sunday games: 1/12 3/23
- 8:30am 5:00pm on Saturdays
- 10:30am-5:00pm on Sundays
We are looking for 4-6 individuals to score keep games for the winter season. Job duties include:
- Being onsite to set up your court
- Keeping time and score on a score clock as well as track of substitutions and fouls
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise on your court
- Providing feedback and communicating issues of importance
QUALIFICATIONS
Training provided! Qualified applicants must be at least 16 years old with a strong interest in sports. The best applicants will be mature and confident (able to speak with authority to kids and adults) possess a high level of commitment and responsibility and demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
HOURS
The season begins in January and runs through March. Weekends are required. Schedule will include Saturdays and Sundays but may require other days/hours to meet the needs of the district.
