We are currently seeking a PRNQualified Medication Aideto join our team atReception Diagnostic Center locatedin Plainfield Indiana.
The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) (Indiana) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration. The QMA takes vital signs assists in examinations and treatments and assists patients with activities of daily living while monitoring patients to report changes in the their conditions.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Graduation from a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) training program required
QMA certification required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
One (1) year of experience in acute care long-term care emergency or correctional setting preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: PRN
