Job Summary

We are looking for aSenior Software Engineer with strong Java backend experienceto design build and maintain automated test frameworks for distributed systems. This role focuses onbackend services API automation CI/CD integration and release management working closely with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure production-ready software.

Key Responsibilities

Design and developJava-based automated test frameworksfor backend services and APIs
Build and maintain automatedAPI integration and end-to-end tests
Integrate automated testing intoCI/CD pipelinesand enforce quality gates
Partner with engineering and DevOps teams onrelease managementand deployment readiness
Validate systems running inAWS environments including distributed and cloud-native architectures
Maintain test data environments and automation tooling
Diagnose failures across test build and deployment pipelines and collaborate on fixes
Advocate for automation-first practices and system-level quality engineering

Required Experience & Skills

Strong hands-on experience withJava
Experience testingbackend services and APIs(REST JSON)
Experience withMavenand Java build tooling
Solid experience working withCI/CD pipelines
Experience with applications deployed onAWS
Background intest automationfor backend or platform systems
Experience working inAgile / DevOps environments

Nice to Have

Experience withPythonfor test automation or tooling
Familiarity withSpring Bootapplications
Experience withGitLab CIor similar CI tools
Experience testingKafka or event-driven systems
Exposure to microservices and distributed architectures

The base salary range is - $150000-$185000

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individuals relevant experience and skills for the role and level.

Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus which is determined upon company and individual performance.
