Summary:
The Pass Through Operator is responsible for batches immediately post compounding activities including count reconciliation tracking activities and testing of items used during compounding. This role plays a key role in the production process by moving materials from the classified spaces to the downstream operational and quality control functions.
Essential functions:
Count reconciliation and tracking for batches immediately post compounding
Testing of batch compounding components and coordination of testing samples for submission to various other departments
Coordination of cleanroom inventory needs and management of cleanroom gowning with cross-functional work with Operations department
Coordination for cleanroom waste disposal
Cross-training in various other pharmacy operations roles as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience:
High School Diploma GED or equivalent
Desired Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to sit and/or stand for 5 hours at a time as needed
Must have strong discipline and following of Standard Operating Procedures repeatedly.
Must be able to gown aseptically and pass gowning qualification
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
