Job Summary

Koniag Operations Servicesa Koniag Government Services companyis seeking a Janitor to supportKOSand our government customer in Denver Federal Center Lakewood CO.This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a union position currently paying $20.25 an hr. All benefits are through the CBA.

Our custodial staff is responsible for keeping an office building clean and orderly. Job duties may include but are not limited to:

Cleaning of entrances lobbies corridors offices conference rooms work areas floor surfaces restrooms locker rooms shower stalls water fountains utility sinks etc.
Maintain the appearance of exterior grounds parking lots loading docks and sidewalks
Emptying wastebaskets/ and trash receptacles
Dusting of high and low surfaces including overhead lights and pictures and using cleaning products to clean or polish soiled surfaces
Vacuuming carpets and light spot removal duties
Washing windows and glass cleaning
May have to perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors shampooing rugs and washing walls

Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must have a high school diploma or GED
0-2 years experience preferred.
Work well with our cooperative and motivated cleaning staff
Follow detailed cleaning instructions and learn troubleshooting skills
Capable of performing heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors shampooing rugs and washing walls
Clear written and verbal communication skills with coworkers and supervisors.
Capable of working with a team or independently to achieve departmental goals including multitasking skills
Must be available for occasional weekend work.
Full-time Night shift available
Part-time night shifts available
Must be dependable hardworking conscientious and cooperative.
Able to obtain a Public Trust
