About the Job
Are you looking to start or grow your career in finance accounting or credit operations This part-time temporary Receivables Clerk role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate Head Office environment while maintaining work-life balance.
Reporting directly to the Corporate Credit Manager you will play a key role in processing customer payments and supporting the Credit and Collections teams. This position is ideal for entry-level candidates recent graduates or professionals seeking a career change into finance. Youll work alongside experienced team members in a professional collaborative setting where accuracy organization and customer service are essential.
Salary range of $30000 - $33000 based on experience and qualifications.
What Youll Be Doing
Receiving reviewing and processing customer payments such as cheques credit cards and electronic funds transfers (EFTs).
Performing customer account reconciliations by matching credits and debits as needed.
Supporting the Collections team by providing invoices and backup documentation to customers through online portals email or mail.
Assisting the Credit team with maintaining accurate customer master data including billing addresses and responding to billing-related inquiries.
Providing vacation and absence coverage for members of the Credit and Collections teams.
Completing administrative tasks such as ad hoc reporting filing scanning data entry and record retrieval.
Offering backup support to the Credit and Collections teams and assisting with other related duties as assigned by management.
Heres What You Need
At least one year of accounting or related experience (entry-level candidates with relevant education are encouraged to apply).
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud is an asset but not required.
The ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage workload with minimal supervision.
Strong numerical skills and a high level of accuracy.
Customer service skills to professionally handle inquiries and resolve issues.
A basic understanding of computer systems and accounting software.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Clear and effective communication skills both verbal and written.
Professional telephone etiquette and the ability to navigate automated phone systems.
