Precast Construction Carpenter

Location: Puyallup

Pay Range: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

The Precast Construction Carpenter is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. You will construct erect install and repair structures and fixtures made of wood plywood and wallboard using carpenters hand tools and power tools.

Reporting to our production supervisor youll work on a close-knit team; the ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team is imperative.

A highlight of your day-to-day may include:

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment returningall tools after use to proper storage location and performs routinehousekeeping (i.e.: cleaning organizing). Performingall work in accordance with established safety procedures. Identifyingunsafe working conditions and notifies supervisor. Advisingsupervisor of any issues after daily inspections of frameworks and/or forms are completed.
• Assemblingand fasteningmaterials to make frameworks or forms.
• Buildingor repairingcabinets doors frameworks floors and other wooden fixtures used in buildings.
• Installingstructures and fixtures such as windows frames floorings and trim or hardware.
• Repairingor replacingdamaged or defective parts or sections of structures.
• Studyingspecifications in blueprints sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. Verifyingtrueness of structure.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Youre enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment. You like to work with your hands and you arent afraid to get dirty. You enjoy seeing a task through to completion and take pride in your work. You have a demonstrated history with carpentry assembly and repairof frameworks and forms. Youre excellent with tape measures machinery hand tools and power tools with the ability to read and interpret documentsand comprehend math. A valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record is required.
