Our affiliate Unified Womens Healthcare of Texas is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Womens Health Care Center in McKinney TX. Position Highlights:

• Join an established and successful practice that has served women in the McKinney and the greater Dallas Metro area for over 20 years.

• Practiceteam consists of 6 physicians 6 certified nurse midwives and 3 nurse practitioners along with a great support staff.

• This ismainly aclinic only position and does not require any call nights or weekends.

• Duties include seeing primarily gynecology patients completing charting calling back patients with labs answering patient phone calls patient education sending prescriptions electronically or by phone and administering medications.

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic womens health conditions.

• Council patients on contraception fertility and reproductive health options

• Patient Census in Clinic: up to 20 per day.

• Will perform andassistwith some minimally invasive procedures that can be completed in the office such as pap smears endometrial biopsies and IUD placements.

• This position will be primarily responsible for seeing walk-in patients patients whose practitioner is out of the office and patients who need emergency/short notice appointments.

Requirements:

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain

• Unrestricted active licensure in the State or ability to obtain

• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain

• CPR BLS and NALS Certification or ability to obtain

• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans

• Ability to communicate with patients teammembersand management staff

• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician

• Two years of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
