Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support plaintiff-side civil litigation with a strong focus on medical malpractice and sexual abuse cases. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can manage a demanding caseload work independently and support cases through trial.

Qualifications

5 years of civil litigation experience preferably in personal injury and medical malpractice
Plaintiff-side litigation experience required
Experience preparing and filing lawsuits from inception through resolution
Trial preparation and trial support experience
Mediation and deposition experience strongly preferred
Multi-state litigation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Manage litigation cases from pre-suit through trial
Draft and prepare pleadings motions discovery requests and responses and other legal documents
Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts using e-filing systems
Maintain and manage litigation calendars deadlines and court requirements
Coordinate and prepare attorneys for depositions mediations hearings and trial
Organize and maintain case files and exhibits
Provide trial preparation and in-court trial support
Communicate effectively with clients experts courts and opposing counsel
