Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
- Serve as a friendly calm and reassuring voice for customers during emergency and high-stress situations
- Gather initial loss information and create electronic job files accurately and in a timely manner
- Dispatch technicians for water fire mold and emergency service calls
- Schedule estimators as needed for non-emergency service calls
- Provide clear confident direction to production staff and ensure schedules and priorities are followed
- Communicate effectively with customers insurance representatives management and field staff
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed standing firm on priorities and timelines when necessary
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry filing and document management
- Maintain a clean professional front office environment
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in reception dispatching or administrative support preferred
- Experience in restoration construction or insurance-related fields is a plus but not required
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while being assertive and decisive when required
- Comfortable giving direction and maintaining boundaries with field staff
- Strong organizational time-management and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn job management software
- Dependable punctual and professional
