Deputy Childrens Home Manager (Level 3) Therapeutic Residential Care

This childrens home provides therapeutic care in a structured supportive environment for young people with complex needs. As Deputy Manager will support the Home Manager in daily operations lead a small team and ensure therapeutic of care are consistently delivered.

Before You Apply

Applicants must have at least two years experience in a childrens residential home at a senior level.
A full Level 3 qualification (or above) in childrens residential care is required.
A valid driving licence and access to a car is essential.

Salary: Up to 34500 per annum plus sleep-in payments

What Youll Need

Level 3 (or above) qualification in childrens residential care
Minimum two years experience at a senior level in a childrens residential home
Knowledge of safeguarding therapeutic care and residential standards
Strong leadership communication and organisational skills
Valid driving licence and access to a car

Experience supporting staff through development and appraisal processes
Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches

What Youll Do

Support the Home Manager in daily operational leadership
Supervise and coach staff to deliver high-quality therapeutic care
Ensure safeguarding compliance and regulatory standards are maintained
Lead shift teams and manage rota planning as required
Contribute to assessments care planning and review processes
Remain hands-on in supporting young people directly
