Deputy Childrens Home Manager (Level 3) Therapeutic Residential Care
This childrens home provides therapeutic care in a structured supportive environment for young people with complex needs. As Deputy Manager will support the Home Manager in daily operations lead a small team and ensure therapeutic of care are consistently delivered.
Before You Apply
- Applicants must have at least two years experience in a childrens residential home at a senior level.
- A full Level 3 qualification (or above) in childrens residential care is required.
- A valid driving licence and access to a car is essential.

- Salary: Up to 34500 per annum plus sleep-in payments
- Contract: Permanent

What Youll Need
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in childrens residential care

- Knowledge of safeguarding therapeutic care and residential standards
- Strong leadership communication and organisational skills

- Experience supporting staff through development and appraisal processes
- Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches
What Youll Do
- Support the Home Manager in daily operational leadership
- Supervise and coach staff to deliver high-quality therapeutic care
- Ensure safeguarding compliance and regulatory standards are maintained
- Lead shift teams and manage rota planning as required
- Contribute to assessments care planning and review processes
- Remain hands-on in supporting young people directly
