Deputy Childrens Home Manager (Level 3) Therapeutic Residential Care

This childrens home provides therapeutic care in a structured supportive environment for young people with complex needs. As Deputy Manager will support the Home Manager in daily operations lead a small team and ensure therapeutic of care are consistently delivered.

Before You Apply

  • Applicants must have at least two years experience in a childrens residential home at a senior level.
  • A full Level 3 qualification (or above) in childrens residential care is required.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a car is essential.

What Youll Need

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in childrens residential care
  • Minimum two years experience at a senior level in a childrens residential home
  • Knowledge of safeguarding therapeutic care and residential standards
  • Strong leadership communication and organisational skills
  • Valid driving licence and access to a car
  • Experience supporting staff through development and appraisal processes
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches

What Youll Do

  • Support the Home Manager in daily operational leadership
  • Supervise and coach staff to deliver high-quality therapeutic care
  • Ensure safeguarding compliance and regulatory standards are maintained
  • Lead shift teams and manage rota planning as required
  • Contribute to assessments care planning and review processes
  • Remain hands-on in supporting young people directly
