Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a First Line Product & Services Quality Manager to join our Interiors Responsibility Center Team in North Charleston South Carolina on 4th shift.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages develops and motivates employees across multiple Quality Management Job Families

  • Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations

  • Successfully implements solutions in an ever-evolving environment by relying on problem-solving data and analysis to drive decisions

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

  • Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10 years in Aerospace Manufacturing Quality or experience in a regulated industry

  • 5 years leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 5 years in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

  • Ability to work on the production floor supporting on-product conformance determinations

  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g. AS9100)

  • Experience working execution to safety quality delivery & cost commitments

  • 10 years in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing Quality Production Engineering Supplier Management and/or Supplier Quality

  • 10 years working with cross-functional leadership doing collaborative problem solving while building lasting relationships

  • Precision in written and verbal communication
