Reservoir Leak Tester
A reservoir leak tester is responsible for detecting and locating leaks in welded reservoirs using specialized tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and specifications to understand the testing objectives and requirements.
- Operate and maintain testing tools and equipment.
- Conduct tests on reservoirs using proven methods.
- Monitor and record testing data and results.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace and follow safety rules and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues and problems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Ability to use testing tools and equipment and perform calculations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Minimum physical requirements include lifting moderate weight up to 50lbs standing for long periods.
- Ability to work on a team and follow directions.
