Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit.

Shift: - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

This positions primary duties include assessing/admitting patients rounding checks giving medications talking with family members and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education

• RN-Associates Degree or
• RN-Bachelors Degree or
• RN-Diploma or
• RN-Masters Degree

Unit Description: This is a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit where we care for patients on telemetry monitoring. The patients are here to determine the next step needed in their care - which may be a cardiac cath transfer to the heart hospital for surgery on their heart or having a diagnostic test such as a stress test or echocardiogram.
