Description of Work
The Clinical Social Worker is responsible for direct counseling services to include assessment treatment planning crisis intervention and evidence based individual group and family therapy. This position is responsible for case management and referral services for patients to include discharge planning for continued MH/SA treatment post discharge linking/referring to community resources consultation with team member and other community resources and completion of all required documentation. The Clinical Social Worker is responsible for the supervision and training of new employees assigned graduate undergraduate and medical students.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of the dynamics and treatment of substance abuse and dependence DSM psychiatric diagnoses and dual/multiple diagnoses.
Knowledge of governmental and private organizations resources in the community laws regulations and policies which govern the program.
Ability to formulate appropriate goals and interventions.
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and to plan and execute work effectively.
Ability to establish rapport with a client and apply techniques or assessing psychosocial behavioral and psychological aspects of client problems.
This position works Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
The Walter B. Jones Center operates two adult inpatient treatment programs on site in Greenville NC: (1) Woodside Treatment Center and (2) Lakeside Psychiatric Hospital. The primary purpose and mission of the Walter B. Jones Center is To provide inpatient treatment psychiatric stabilization and medical detoxification for individuals with mental health substance use and other co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses for ongoing community based treatment and recovery. The Center is accredited by the Joint Commission and SAMHSA/CSAT. Two specialty programs are offered to all 100 NC Counties: (1) Inpatient Opioid Treatment for adults and (2) Inpatient Perinatal Services for women in their 1st 2nd and 3rd trimesters with substance use disorders.
Hiring salary will be based on relevant qualifications internal equity and budgetary considerations pertinent to the advertised position.

Minimum Education and Experience

Masters degree from an appropriately accredited school of social work. Licensure is required from NC SW Certification and Licensure Board. Necessary Special Qualification Requirements - One must fulfill all requirements for Licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.EEO Statement
