This role is an integral member of the orthopedic and neurosurgery service line at AdventHealth ParkerHospital contributing to the design implementation and ongoing development of a comprehensive highqualityprogram. The APP will provide leadership by guiding clinical care decisions supporting teamcommunication and contributing to the development and improvement of the orthopedic andneurosurgery service line. Using a collaborative multidisciplinary approach this individual will delivercompassionate coordinated care that supports whole-person healing. As a key leader within the inpatientorthopedic and neurosurgery team the APP will help manage post-surgical patients; facilitatemultidisciplinary rounds; and support discharge planning to ensure optimal partnership with the orthopedic and neurosurgical team nursing care management and ancillaryservices the APP will work to enhance physician satisfaction strengthen nursing education and supportand ensure patients and their families receive thorough education and guidance from admission throughdischarge.
