Skills & Qualifications
Required
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related engineering field.
Demonstrated experience through projects internships or personal products equivalent to 3 years of hands-on development:
o This could include: multiple internships significant capstone/academic projects freelance work published apps/websites open-source contributions or entrepreneurial projects.
Proven portfolio showcasing or projects and backend development in or Python.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and frontend performance optimization.
Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Vercel / Netlify) - even if through personal projects.
Familiarity with domain setup CI/CD and production-grade security configurations.
High-agency mindset: Self-starter who takes ownership identifies problems proactively and drives solutions independently.
Proficient with AI coding tools (Cursor Claude Code Windsurf GitHub Copilot or similar) and applies them to accelerate development.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in fast-paced ambiguous environments with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and ability to articulate technical decisions clearly
