We are now hiring forSEASONAL POOL TECHNICIANS at our Outdoor Pools during the Summer 2026 Season!
WHAT YOULL DO: As a Seasonal Pool Tech you will complete daily preventative maintenance ensure safety and cleanliness and maintain pool water chemistry via chemical level testing dosing and addition you will also be responsible for identifying reporting and communicating potential safety and maintenance concerns. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining the pools pumprooms splash pad and facilities maintaining safety and cleanliness standards and following and promoting the values of Elmhurst Park District.
WHAT YOULL BRING:
- You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Illinois drivers license.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaning.
- Knowledge of pool chemicals and safe handling practices.
- Ability to swim and dive underwater up to 12ft.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and spend 95% of work time performing physical labor standing and/or walking.
WHEN YOULL WORK:Scheduled days and hours may vary 30-40 hours per week. Shifts include weekday and weekend mornings afternoons and/or evenings!Flexible schedules! We will work with you and your schedule!
WHAT YOULL GET:
- The anticipated starting pay for this position is $18.00/hour.
- This position falls under Pay Grade D with a pay range of $15.25 - $25.50.
