Job Summary:The online coach will work directly with the team and the Online Campus Director to support faculty teaching online courses and students taking online courses. Time commitment is 19 hours or less per week.

Education:High school diploma required. Bachelors or Masters degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
- During the first week of class check mid-week whether the students have logged in. Send a reminder email/text to those who have not logged in.
- Every 7 to 10 days check whether students have logged in. Remember the course assignment structure (i.e. two-week modules) when identifying when students last logged into the course. Reach out to inactive students via email and cc the professor.
- Checking syllabus for accurate information and relaying that information to the professor (not writing or editing the syllabus).
- Troubleshooting/Tech Support for students and faculty.
- Training faculty on how to use eClass Panopto and Zoom when assigned by Online Campus.
- Assist with changing due dates importing course material as determined by the professor and basic eClass editing.
- Guiding teaching faculty through new course builds as directed.
- Coaches should direct faculty to contact Online Campus via for additional assistance.
- Respond to communication in a reasonable amount of time (Recommended that communication occurs within 24-48 hours).
- Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned.
Special Requirements:An expressed commitment to Jesus Christ the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and an Adventist church member in good and regular standing.
Typical Physical Demands:Requires sitting standing bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers fax machines calculators and telephone. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
Working Conditions:Essential tasks are performed under normal office/school conditions with little or no noticeable discomfort. Work area is well lit and ventilated.
