What you will own and manage in your day-to-day work at Wilhelmsen:

• To be familiar with and to act in accordance with all applicable credit processes and policies.

• Follow up of all accounts receivables with customers.

• Develop & maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to minimise Port services overdue debt.

• Visit key customers as and when required.

• Monitor and report on overdue debt.

• To follow agreed debt collection process and report possible improvement

• To keep respective Credit Manager and key stakeholders updated on any issues related to and impacting on customer payment performance.

• Undertake regular credit risk assessment analyses.

• To escalate problem accounts in accordance with Port Services Credit Policy.

• To highlight disputed invoices and ensure these are resolved within target set.

• To co-operate within DA Centre finance teams and local offices to build efficient communication channel.

• Use HighRadius credit system Power Bi and all relevant systems.

• To perform all other tasks as delegated by Manager.

This role is a perfect challenge for you if you have:

• Relevant work experience as a Credit Controller (preferably in a Shipping or similar environment)

• Good communication and negotiating skills.

• Good analytical skills & attention to detail

• Excellent telephone skills Assertive but customer friendly

• Ability to balance risk with reward and to take decisions

• Able to meet deadlines though good time management and allocation of priorities

• IT literate with experience of working with Excel MS office CRM systems

• Ability to work independently and systematically.

• Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.

• Fluent in English - both in speaking and writing.

• Computer literate
