Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Night Shift
Location: Holmdel NJ 07733
Assignment Type: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Pay Rate: $45 $55 per hour
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1552.50 $1897.50
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support a high-acuity acute care setting in Holmdel NJ. This role involves delivering advanced cardiopulmonary care managing life-support equipment and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments and demonstrate strong clinical judgment and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Perform ventilator setup monitoring and advanced management for critically ill patients
Assist with emergency airway management including intubations and artificial airway care
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis
Administer prescribed respiratory therapies including aerosol treatments chest physiotherapy and oxygen therapy
Assess patient conditions analyze clinical data and adjust care plans accordingly
Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory conditions and equipment use
Collaborate effectively with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience (ventilator management and ABGs required)
Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Licensure: Active and unrestricted New Jersey Respiratory Care License
Certifications:
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
BLS (AHA) ACLS and PALS
Scheduling Requirements:
Ability to commit fully to assigned schedule
Availability to work every other weekend and required holidays
On-call rotation required (minimum once per week)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift push or pull at least 5 lbs
