Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association the following position is being posted for the period of January 9 2026 until filled.

Part-Time Gifted Teacher

Building: North Canton Intermediate School
Approximately 1 to 2 hours per day (every morning during each school day)
Effective Dates: Starting sometime during the last two weeks of January if possible and running through the end of the school year
Responsibilities include teaching an enrichment curriculum in a small group setting to 4^th-grade studentsidentified as gifted
Candidates must possess a valid Ohio Teachers license that certifies them to teach students in 4th grade
- A Gifted Intervention Specialist endorsement is preferred
- For candidates who do not possess a Gifted Intervention Specialist endorsement it is preferred that they have experience teaching gifted or high-achieving students
