Job Summary
My firm is recruiting for a newSenior Corporate Accountantrole for a well-known privately held manufacturing company that has been an industry leader for over 50 years. This role is a great opportunity to get high visibility with senior leadership and grow your career. This position reports to the Corporate Controller internally and will have the opportunity to get promoted fairly quickly.Company offers excellent benefits.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post G/L journal entries
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing and analyze monthly financial information to identify trends or discrepancies
- Assist with new SAGE system implementation and develop new Power BI dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Position Qualifications
- BS Accounting Finance or equivalent
- 2-4 years public and/or related corporate accounting experience
- Must have solid Excel skills (vlookups etc)
- Ideal candidates will be proactive in their daily activities
- Position requires excellent verbal and written communications skills
