Professional Service Industries Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is a leading US based provider of construction assurance testing and inspection in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing geotechnical services environmental engineering industrial hygiene and specialty testing.
What are we looking for
TheGeotechnical Project Engineer - Constructionis responsible for performing a variety of assignments that include evaluations using standard techniques procedures and criteria; using judgment to make minor adoptions and modifications during work.

What youll do:
- Prepare preliminarygeotechnicalreports scopes budgets and schedules for projects as perspecifications
- Attend client site meetings and communicate effectively with client and project teams
- Work on one or multiple projects at a time
- May perform on-site observations or inspections

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Masters degree (MS) from an ABET accredited college or university in Geotechnical Engineering
- 5 years progressive experience in geotechnical consulting
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas or ability to obtain PE License within 6 months
- Valid drivers license and reliable driving record
- Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
- May travel up to 15% of time
- Ability to read and understand work plans
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication
- Proficiency in engineering software in discipline (GeoStudio LPILE APILE SHAFT GROUP SLIDE Settle3D)
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- PhD from an ABET accredited college or university in Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience with PLAXIS 2D and 3D
