Scheduled Weekly Hours:
36Registered Nurse (RN) Neurology Clinic
Location: Main Campus La Crosse WI East Building 3rd Floor
FTE: 0.9 (72 hours per two weeks)
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM 8-hour shifts with a rotating day off
About the Role
Join our dynamic Neurology Clinic team where every day brings variety and meaningful impact. As an RN in this role youll support both pediatric and adult patients across multiple subspecialties including seizure disorders memory concerns stroke migraine headache multiple sclerosis movement disorders and general neurology. Youll collaborate closely with providers in a team-oriented environment that values expertise curiosity and patient-centered care.
What Youll Do
Provide telephone triage manage in-basket messaging and deliver patient education.
Assist with in-office procedures such as Botox and trigger point injections occipital nerve blocks and skin biopsies.
Conduct nurse-only visits including MoCA memory assessments and pre-appointment education.
Work within a pod-based care model building strong relationships with providers and patients.

What Were Looking For
Must-Have:
Current RN license to practice in Wisconsin
Current InfantAdult BLS for Health Care Providers
Flexibility and adaptabilityevery day is different
Excellent communication empathy and active listening skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Preferred:
At least one year of nursing experience (med/surg or clinic preferred)
Prior experience in neurology or related specialties
Familiarity with Epic/MyChart and patient triage workflows
