About the role
In this Full Stack Developer (HEP Level 8) role youll lead the end-to-end build of a modern web productshaping the architecture writing the code shipping to production and continuously improving performance and reliability. Youll work across Django (backend) and or React (frontend) hosted on Microsoft Azure and youll be hands-on integrating Azure OpenAI and agentic AI workflows (prompting RAG pipelines multi-agent orchestration) to automate ESG and Scope3 tax reporting. Youll also help ensure the solution is secure and compliant with human-in-the-loop validation privacy-by-design and strong engineering practices like CI/CD monitoring and version control.
The role sits within ISILC and is currently based at VU City Tower (Melbourne CBD) working closely with academic professional and research project staff.
This is a full-time fixed-term position at an HEP8 $113953 - $128326 plus 17% superannuation classification working 36.75 hours per week over a fixed-term contract period (until 30/1/2027).
