DescriptionRole Description
The Project Service Advisor Intern provides essential support within the Finance department assisting with a variety of routine and administrative tasks to ensure smooth business operations. This internship is designed for individuals seeking to develop foundational skills in financial processes document management and internal communications while gaining exposure to corporate best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Preparation: Prepare routine letters memoranda reports and similar documents by following detailed instructions utilising the full range of functions within standard office software.
- Administration: Produce update and provide best practice support on Microsoft documents databases and other departmental systems including purchasing materials entering budgetary information and recording time and expenses.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data from standard sources accurately input into required formats and produce reports for other team members.
- Client & Customer Management (Internal): Assist in managing internal client relationships by executing simple procedural tasks and supporting departmental needs.
- Internal Communications: Use the internal communications system to access and provide specific information upon request.
- Financial Management and Control: Carry out basic financial monitoring tasks to support the team and ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Data Management: Perform basic data management tasks maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Document Management: Create organise and maintain files containing correspondence and records for senior colleagues.
Software Skills & Languages
- Software Skills: Proficiency with standard office software is essential particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and common database systems. Familiarity with document management software and the ability to quickly adapt to new digital tools is highly valued.
- Languages: Excellent command of English is mandatory for both written and verbal communication. Additional language skills are considered an asset.
