Job Summary
This position pays $15.00 per hour but may increase based on availability and experience.
Responsibilities: The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking energetic responsible and service-oriented applicants for seasonal employment opportunities at the South Entrance Rentals Desk and Safari Gift Shop. Job duties include cash handling stocking cleaning bending picking up merchandise interacting with visitors and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Candidate must be at least 18 years of age or older. Candidate must have basic math and computer skills. It is preferred that the candidate have some retail experience with cash registers and/or POS systems. Candidate must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds stand for 8 or more hours and be comfortable working outside. Candidate must have a flexible work schedule; this will include weekends (specifically Sundays) some evenings and holidays. All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check.
