Job Summary
Job Title: RN / T-RN (Long-Term Care)
Location: Gallup NM
Contract Duration: 10 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: Day Shift 312-Hour Shifts
Weekly Pay: $1700/week
Position Overview
A long-term care facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN / T-RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents. The RN will be responsible for clinical assessments care planning medication administration and supervision of support staff while ensuring high standards of resident care.
Responsibilities
Assess residents health status and develop implement and evaluate individualized plans of care
Administer medications treatments and IV therapy as ordered by providers
Monitor vital signs laboratory results and changes in resident condition; promptly report concerns
Provide wound care pain management and chronic disease management
Supervise support and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs in accordance with scope of practice
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to promote optimal resident outcomes
Maintain compliance with facility policies regulatory standards and patient safety guidelines
Requirements
Active RN or T-RN license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and documentation skills
