The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team at our Lockport this role you will be instrumental in designing developing and implementing new & refurbished equipment for various manufacturing processes supporting production of heat exchangers.

What Youll Do (Responsibilities):

  • New program implementation/execution (SOR prep forecasting equipment design equipment build/run-off and buyoff)

  • Design develop and implement equipment for automated machinery robotics and other manufacturing processes.

  • Managing deliveries to program timing milestones

  • Conduct plant modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and efficiency.

  • Perform Troubleshooting Hardware and software issues to ensure system reliability and uptime.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical electrical and software engineers.

  • Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle from concept to production.

  • Write SORs for new equipment monitor supplier progress perform runoff at suppliers and Lockport. Complete all necessary tasks required before handoff of equipment to focus factory.

  • Periodic off shift & weekend work will be required

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelors in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience

  • 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience

  • Excellent Troubleshooting Hardware and software skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Occasional off shift work will be required to support production

  • Overtime as needed to meet project timelines & start / debug support

What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Proficiency in plant modeling and analysis techniques.

  • Knowledge of Industrial Cameras (Cognex Keyence Matrox)

  • Experience with Fanuc robotics

  • Extensive experience with Simulation tools and techniques.

  • Strong background in manufacturing of heat exchangers - condensers radiators ATOCs LTRs etc

  • Masters degree in manufacturing engineering

This role is categorized as onsite. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
