Job Summary

The Creative Asset Manager for the Amazon MGM Studios Global Marketing Lifecycle Marketing Team will support the entire Lifecycle Marketing team across 2 3 key business lanes with a large volume of titles and assets. This role requires a high attention to detail ability to juggle multiple projects and a drive to learn and be curious.

A successful candidate is a customer-centric expert in asset management with a passion for large-scale management of A/V Print Digital and other creative assets in the content lifecycle.
In the role youll champion best practices tools standards and processes required for operational excellence across a growing slate of content. Youll lead the end-to-end delivery of marketing assets for Amazon MGM Studios global slate with specialized focus on intake and management of assets from 1P and 3P partners as well as supporting the B2B needs of the Distribution team. Experience managing workflows related to ingest and QC file organization projects archives management and metadata application is key. You will work closely with internal Digital Archives Design A/V Distribution Campaign Management and Strategy teams as well as external creative vendors.

You should be comfortable diving deep into details and thinking big about ways to scale streamline and continuously improve processes asset libraries and customer experiences. You are an excellent multi-tasker who will manage projects with multiple deliverables and ensure deadlines are met across teams and key global stakeholders. As a credible voice for excellence in Asset Management you are a leader a collaborator and a great communicator.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage a variety of assets for complex campaigns across multiple genres and content types
- Lead sourcing intake review and distribution of assets from 1P and 3P partners
- Uphold and sometimes even define best practices and SOP across asset management naming conventions storage protocols and more
- Work closely with creative vendors on file prep rescores and QC across a variety of specs
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting and tracking mechanisms via project management systems
- Navigate the needs and priorities of both internal and external customers
- Track delivery schedules and work backwards from launch dates to ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business
- Utilize a variety of tools to deliver creative assets to a global customer base

About the team
The Amazon MGM Studios Lifecycle Marketing team is uniquely positioned to manage the full-suite of movie and series marketing assets as they move through the various content monetization opportunities of EST VOD channels 3P streamers and networks home entertainment consumer products and the continuously growing library of titles. This team is composed of separate but interrelated divisions of Marketing Strategy & Servicing Design Services Creative Assets and Digital Archives and collectively they are responsible for the creation onboarding preparation storage publishing management and servicing of all marketing assets for use by 1P and 3P partners in perpetuity around the world.

- 3 years of creative services experience
- Experience and understanding of the workflow within a marketing production or creative department or company
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
- Knowledge of deliverables and technical specs for streaming assets
- Experience with metadata input organizing a large amount of files hi-res file transmissions (FTP servers etc.) file naming conventions and database reporting
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Working knowledge of video audio and image file and encoding formats and industry best practices
- Superior verbal and written communication skills

- Experience with asset management design workflows or partnering with creative teams
- Experience in vendor management
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
- Experience managing intake and delivery of assets from licensing partners or external vendors

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
