Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical RN to provide patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting. The RN will perform clinical assessments administer medications and support the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care according to nursing standards
Administer medications IV therapy and perform phlebotomy accurately
Monitor patient responses to treatments and interventions
Provide conscious sedation under protocol guidelines
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedures and safety standards

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience

Education Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Licensure & Certifications

Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification of license through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Queens only)
