Job Summary

Job Description:
- Oversee daily nursing operations under the direction of the DON and Leadership Team
- Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulatory standards facility policies and professional guidelines
- Assist in reviewing updating and implementing policies and procedures to ensure alignment with clinical practice and regulations
- Support Safety Program initiatives Emergency Preparedness and documentation compliance
- Ensure safe medication management practices including storage ordering and administration
- Provide guidance and leadership to staff patients physicians and visitors including during urgent or emergency situations
- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and support risk mitigation efforts
- Assist with Risk Management activities including root cause analysis of adverse events
- Promote a culture of safety and address patient visitor or staff concerns escalating issues as appropriate
- Support the DON with staff meetings and communication of operational or facility updates
- Perform additional duties as needed to maintain patient safety and efficient facility operations
