Perform Recruitment is looking for an experienced Joinery Production Supervisor to lead and manage daily workshop operations for our client. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in joinery manufacturing and Lean principles. You will play a key role in managing production mentoring the workshop team and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality output efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day joinery workshop operations ensuring safety quality efficiency and cost control.

Organize production workflow allocate resources effectively and ensure timely delivery of all projects.
-
Mentor train and motivate workshop staff promoting best practices in Lean manufacturing and fostering a high-performing team.
-
Collaborate with other departments including Sales Customer Service Finished Goods Warehouse Installations and Logistics to ensure seamless project delivery.
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
-
Monitor production KPIs address performance gaps and ensure consistent adherence to quality standards and company policies.

Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the workshop.
Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience in a team leadership role ideally within a joinery or manufacturing environment.

At least 3 years hands-on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.

Strong understanding of production processes workflow optimisation and quality control.
-
Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
-
Excellent communication skills (verbal written and presentation) for cross-department collaboration.

Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing production priorities.

Competent in Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint or other production management software is advantageous.
