Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) / Medical Assistant (MA) to join our healthcare team in Bellaire TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and providing clinical support to physicians and patients. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent patient care skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate radiographic equipment and maintain imaging records accurately.
- Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care and clinical procedures as needed.
- Obtain and document patient medical histories and vital signs.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage clinical workflow efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging and clinical areas.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to radiology and clinical practice.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.
Qualifications- Valid Texas LMRT license required.
- Certification or experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Proficient in operating radiologic equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic safety and infection control protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical or technical training is a plus.
