Job Summary
Stohlman Volkswagen & Subaru of Tysons is seeking a dedicated and reliable Parts Driver to join our team inTysons this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts supporting our parts and service departments efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the prompt deliveryand pick-up ofautomotive parts between dealerships service centers and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and receipts ensuring proper documentation and inventory control.
- Communicate effectively with parts managers service technicians and vendors to coordinate parts availability and delivery schedules.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections of the parts truck/van to ensure transportation safety and reliability of the vehicle.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the parts vehicle.
- Assist with receiving storing and organizing the parts department as needed to support overall operations.
- Load or unload supplies while it is being received or when being sent out to job sites.
- Use excellent customer service skills; establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees officials and all members of staff.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry parts up to 50 pounds safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
