We are looking to hire a post-doctoral fellow to work in our lab on a project that interrogates the role of unconventional T cells in liver disease. The project will involve a substantial amount of human cell and tissue work along with mouse work. Looking for candidates with intermediate to advanced immunology and cell biology background and technical background in conducting flow cytometry experiments. The postdoctoral fellow will benefit from a small lab where PI is directly involved in all experiments. The project has defined scientific questions and will also benefit from 1:1 meetings on scientific and career mentoring. The lab is part of a larger group of liver basic science investigators on Guggenheim 17th floor which is very close knit and collaborative. Candidates will need to provide two names of references who have observed the applicants work.
Must have a Ph.D. M.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
