Job Summary
The Sales Manager will lead and execute the sales strategy for the food manufacturing business in Togo with full responsibility for revenue growth market expansion and distributor management. The role requires strong FMCG expertise deep market understanding and hands-on leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the FMCG sales strategy in line with company objectives
- Manage distributors key accounts and major retail channels
- Lead coach and monitor the performance of the sales team and field force
- Drive market penetration product availability and visibility
- Negotiate commercial agreements pricing and promotions
- Analyze sales performance forecasts and market trends
- Monitor competition and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with marketing supply chain and finance teams
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field
- Proven FMCG sales experience is mandatory
- Minimum 812 years of sales experience with at least 35 years in a sales management role
- Fluent in French (mandatory) and English
- Experience in African markets is a strong advantage
- Strong leadership negotiation and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel within the country as required
