What this job involves:
As aSr Facilities MaintenanceTechnicianyou will use your skills to support the Operationsteambyoperating inspecting andmaintainingall HVAC mechanicalelectricaland plumbingequipmentand systems in assigned facilities to obtain the most efficient operating results. You willensure that equipment is beingmaintainedin an energy efficient safemannerand down time is reducedby completing preventative maintenanceandanticipatingand executingnecessaryrepairsin advance of failure.You willperforminspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas including walls and flooring installed fixtures roofing systems lighting etc.

In addition to developing your skills you will have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians todeveloptheir roles.You will work as part of an engineering team of 10 at multi-building client property managed 24/7 by JLL.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Maintainoperate and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment electrical distribution equipment plumbing systems building interior/exterior repair and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.

• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence effortsreporting onas found conditionsimpactingsatisfactory client occupancy and operations.

• Respond effectively to all emergencies.

• Prepare andsubmitto management summary reports listing conditions found in the performance of assignedwork andrecommend and/or suggest action to be taken.

• Study and become familiar with thevarious itemsof equipment and the methodsto use them properly that areinevery dayactivities. This includes building automation systems fire / life safety systems and any other building related equipment.

• Comply withall safety proceduresmaintaininggood housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods toeliminatethem.

• Maintain compliancetoState County or City Ordinances Codes or Laws.

• Must be willing and able to support anyafter hoursbuilding related activity as.

• Attendperiodic training seminars.

• Other assigned operationaltasks asmay be typically expected of the Mobile Engineer role.

• Candidatewill beprovidedtoolsto perform assigned work scope.

• Must be able to respond to after-hours site emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

• Mustpossessand maintain a valid state drivers license

• Active Journeyman Electrician license in Duval County

• Ability to visually inspect machinery and buildings.

• Ability tofrequentlywalk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation.

• Working from heights and ability tolift upto 50 lbs.

• Ability to detect emergency alarms - auditory and/or visual.

• Physically able tooperateelectric hand tools work on a ladder carry tools lift and carry heavy loadsoperatea motor vehicle

• Equipment inspections requiregetting onhands and knees to reach areas difficult to access.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work in a team and independently.

• Mustbe able to communicate effectively with our customerscontractorsand co-workers.

• Mustpossess(4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of machinery plumbing electrical equipment repair and maintenance.

• Mustbeproficientusing computers & software programs such as MS Word Excel Outlook Explorer etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trades schooling in electrical system design refrigeration and HVAC preferred

• CMMS experience
