Position Summary:The Regulatory Affairs Specialist supports Tilray Brands cannabis operations by preparing regulatory submissions maintaining licences reviewing product compliance and ensuring adherence to the Cannabis Act and related regulations. This role works cross-functionally to support product development operational changes and Health Canada interactions to maintain continuous compliance across multiple sites. Status: This position is for an existing vacancy Key Responsibilities - Review formulations labels packaging and product specifications to support compliant product launches.
- Provide regulatory guidance during product development and commercialization.
- Prepare and submit regulatory applications including product notices and licence changes.
- Maintain licensing documentation support renewals and assist with compliance verification activities with Health Canada and other authorities.
- Conduct gap analyses and monitor regulatory or legislative changes supporting updates to products labels and internal procedures.
- Support CTS reporting mandatory submissions and audit/inspection readiness activities as required.
Education and Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline or Law; RA certification is an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Regulatory Affairs Quality Assurance or Compliance within the cannabis industry or another regulated sector.
- Working knowledge of the Cannabis Act Cannabis Regulations and other relevant legislation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal and crossfunctional teamwork skills.
