Customer Service Representative - Personal Lines
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a close-knit family-owned insurance agency. This role focuses on Personal Lines and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values work-life balance and fosters a collaborative culture. As a CSR you will play a vital role in managing client relationships handling policy changes and addressing customer needs.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $50000 - $65000 annually based on experience
- 401(k): Roth Account
- Work Environment: In-office with hybrid flexibility as needed
- Benefits: No additional benefits provided
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle policy changes and address carrier alerts
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Cross-sell insurance products to existing clients
- Work with standard lines carriers including Travelers Safeco Mercury Nationwide and others
- Assist with managing a book of business valued at $3M including accounts ranging from $1M to $1.5M
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Software Skills: Familiarity with EzLynx and/or HawkSoft is preferred
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset
