About the opportunity

Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at St. Liborius. This is a permanent part-time position (22.5 hours per week) with working hours from Monday to Friday - 1.30 PM - 6.00 PM with ample administration time.

The hourly rate for the position is $35 (ACECQA approved Diploma or equivalent) and $41 p/hour (ACECQA Approved Degree or equivalent) ECEC retention payment 12% super.

OSHC Coordinators are responsible for:

  • Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program;
  • Working with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities;
  • Creating a positive relationship with the school families local community groups and contract partners;
  • Managing a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program

What do you need

  • Youll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below)
  • Youll need to have or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
  • Youll need to have or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Childrens Check employee check
  • Youll need to have or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment

There are a variety of qualifications that ACECQA has approved to work within OSHC ranging from education to community services to healthcare.
