Technical Training Specialist/ Product Instructional Designer

Were seeking a curious self-motivated and technically skilled Instructional Designer to join our Product Training and Education this role youll apply your passion for technology and learning to create impactful training that equips employees customers and implementation partners with the skills they need to effectively use Anaplan a powerful platform that drives decision making for our customers. Youll collaborate with Product Engineering Global Solutions Delivery Partner Success and Customer Success teams to craft engaging learning experiences that enable services professionals and drive user adoption of Anaplan products and applications.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze product features and functionality to identify key learning points and develop training content designed to reinforce technical skills.
Learn unreleased product content quickly and develop training aligned to the product development cycle.
Stay current with all new Anaplan standard methodologies and product improvements to ensure learning content is kept up to date.
Become an expert in Anaplan modeling techniques and standard methodologies by completing Level 1 and 2 training within 3 months and maintaining all certifications as requirements change.
Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts from Product Engineering Global Solutions Delivery Partner Success and Customer Success to define and document learning objectives.
Transform raw source content from SMEs into instructional material including on-demand and instructor-led training designed to optimize learning.
Continually improve training delivery based upon feedback from learners and mentor team members on feedback received.
Assist Product Training and Education help desk in answering training content related cases.
Ability to be flexible with modality and time requirements to meet customer needs for training.
Work within LMS and instructional design platforms to ensure quality learning experience.
Special assignments and other duties not specifically stated may also be assigned.

Job Qualifications

5 years experience in instructional design.
Proven experience designing and developing product training for Anaplan or similarly complex products and applications.
Experience with learning tools used for course authoring video editing graphic design and learning management. Articulate 360 Docebo Camtasia and Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills and high attention to detail.
Passion for learning teaching and constant improvement.
Familiarity with adult learning principles learning theories and instructional methodologies.
Ability to communicate concepts in a concise logical manner so learners can absorb and retain.
Flexibility to prioritize multiple activities simultaneously.
